At Jubilee Academy, our J-Club vision is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages your child's growth and development. We strive to create hearts eager to serve the Lord, a back-to-basics approach to acquire homesteading skills and a solid foundation for a lifelong love of learning and exploring. J-Club provides a fun learning environment for students, grades 1-6, to come together to grow and play.
We offer a range of lessons, experiments and activities for J-Club students.
Here is a short list of some of our 2025-2026 themed lessons and experiments:
We offer brainstorming and team building exercises in addition to games involving movement and collaboration.
From playing games to scavenger hunts and team-building challenges, the students will work together to achieve a common goal.
These activities provide an awesome way for students to get to know one another, build trust as a community, and, best of all, have fun!
We will be freeze-drying our harvest from the garden in addition to freeze-drying different items such as candies, meals, scrambled eggs vs. raw eggs and more.
The students will reconstitute items to determine what works and what needs improvement or omission.
Weight and measurement will be used to determine the amount of water needed, if any, to reconstitute food items.
We will be learning all about cooking from scratch! From homemade bread to making a roux - you will have a little chef in your kitchen whipping up goodies soon! We will mill our own wheat berries to make fresh flour for our recipes, also learning about real foods versus processed junk!

Here are some of our planned food items the students will be making from scratch:
Sourdough bread, yeast bread, biscuits, butter, donuts, granola bars, fruit leathers, pineapple and grape jam, desserts and more!
Here at Jubilee, we have several different breeds of egg-laying hens and a couple Peking ducks, Thelma & Louise!
Students will help care for the chickens and ducks, offering snacks, homemade treats, fresh water, herbs; also learning 'the why' behind using said herbs.
The students will also care for, and enjoy, Beau & Belle Bunny, our two Holland Lops!
We offer mini greenhouses to start seedlings and a full garden for J-Club students.

Parents have access to their child's progress, areas of struggle and hundreds of printables. This is completely self-paced. We have a library of books, chapter books, Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read and Master Reader programs. All About Reading, an Orton-Gillingham program, is available for children who need extra help or struggle with dyslexia.

Children simply do not get enough time to play in traditional schools. A growing trend toward reallocating time in school to accentuate the more academic subjects has put this very important facet of a child's school day at risk. Recess serves as a necessary break from the rigors of concentrated, academic challenges in the classroom. It affords a time to rest, play, imagine, think, move, and socialize. After recess, for children or after a corresponding break for adolescents, students are more attentive and better able to perform cognitively. Here at Jubilee, play breaks are a priority and encouraged.
